What's Motivation?

For some reason, I have decided to not write in the blog. I have a million things going on in my head and I should be writing them down. I guess I felt the need to torture myself and Derek.

I have been so down the last month and so quick tempered. A combination of working long hours, not a whole lot of sleep, and not seeing Derek just turned me into a bag of mush. I am trying to change that and Derek is trying too. He is trying to work more days so I can see him more often.

Got a new computer cause the laptop decided it didn't like working anymore. I got a desktop with a 22 inch monitor. It's pretty. I forgot what a fast computer was like. Plus I can play Sims 3 on it cause I am nerdy like that.

Um, the work husband almost got fired because some ass went to HR and said he was selling drugs, which he wasn't. They let him keep his job because there was no proof. That was a relief, I mean shit, he's got kids.

I got a pressie from Walt which I am enjoying right now. I just rocked out to Milli Vanilli and Debbie Gibson. Love it!

Derek and I are going to Disney the 2,3, & 4th of October. I need to get in touch with Mr. Stone and see what he wants to do as far as a meet and greet. I was hoping Ricky was coming, but the new boy has all his attention, so I am guessing not. I hope my TWSS boys (yes they are mine) show up on Friday or Saturday. I would love to see them.

Finally, Fall Makes an Apperence and Song of the Day, 11/02/08

So after a month of 98-101 degree weather, today we have dark clouds and a high of 66! Hurrah! I love fall and winter so much. So to celebrate I made a tummy corn-potato chowder. Not entirely from scratch, I used a V8 southwestern corn soup as a base. Added onions, garlic, white wine, more corn, potatoes, and a spoon full of sour cream. It was so good. I have a broccoli soup from V8 I want to use, but am having a tough time thinking what I can put into it to make it my own. Derek doesn't like broccoli so I really have to jazz it up so he doesn't think that's all it is. And Derek reads this so hiii!

Work was pretty busy so the time went by pretty fast. I love when we change the clock back, yay for an hour of sleep! I stayed up watching this show about past presidents. It was actually quite interesting. I love history junk though. I fell asleep about midnight and Derek wakes me up at like 2am and tells me I need to change my clock! Normally I would have been annoyed that he woke me up, but an hour of sleep I didn't think I was going to get made me happy.

Finally

Ok! I am moved in! The only things left at the old place is a few odds and ends. Mostly some trash left over from painting. The new place is a little smaller, but clean and cozy. Poor Jazzmine hates moving, she freaks out. For the first night she stayed under the couch. She is fine now though.

I hate painting. I have a new appreciation for keeping walls white. I will buy colorful pictures for the wall. no more paint!

The no soda has continued. I did have a sip of Derek's chocolate cherry dr. pepper. it only took one sip to determine I don't like it. I mean chocolate in a soda is good in theory, but taste, blech. So I don't know what day I am on and if the sip voids out the previous time. But I have been living on water and ice tea. I am going for a walk after I finish writing this.

Derek has also mentioned that he wants to start eating better and moving. He says he feels lousy all the time. So this will make it a little easier if I know he's now bring nasties in the house.

So after my walk, I'm gonna shower, play some Mario galaxy, make a homemade pizza for dinner. I have a ton of new kitchen gadgets I wanna use so I am excited about dinner.
